Leo and Noreen’s decision to relocate to sunny QLD from NSW was easy to make as it enabled them to spend more time with family and friends and less time in the car.
Leo said, ‘We love the warmth and privacy of our apartment and the contemporary age friendly finishes. Above all, we love the friendliness of the other residents around us’.
Leo and Noreen love the calming environment, pristine lawns and garden that the village offers often spruiking that the view from their balcony across the city skyline is beyond words, it’s a permanent holiday!
Phil and Arnold moved into St Luke’s Green in November 2018 from Towoomba and couldn’t be happier with their decision.
Phil said, ‘This decision didn’t come lightly, we considered all aspects of moving into a retirement village and we encourage others to do the same. Our biggest piece of advice to friends looking to move is to first decide when, then consider where. For us a centralised location was imperative, and the fact that as soon as we first visited the village, we felt at home straight away made the decision easy, we knew it was the place for us”
They love having the privacy of their own home yet the friendships of their community at their door step, all in the perfect cosy village of St Luke’s Green.
Gayle & Eileen formed a special bond when they moved into St Luke’s Green. Their bond was formed over the fact that they downsized and relocated to enjoy a relaxed lifestyle here at St Luke’s Green.
They both agreed, that it’s the community that makes St Luke’s Green a great place to call home.
Gayle said, ‘The benefits associated with living in community environment are perfect. Particularly the next to no maintenance and concierge services such as arranging my dry cleaning or posting my mail’.
Eileen says, “My social life is now busier than ever! To know I can come home to a community of wonderful people where I know my neighbours, makes me smile’.
Gayle said her family often say, ‘Mum, we are so pleased you are where you are, you are happy and that’s all that we want for you’.
Both Gayle and Eileen are extremely happy with their move and haven’t looked back since.
